"I just installed this unit in my 2005 SL500. All I can say is wow! This install took less than 10 minutes. The response on this car right now is incredible. It was a powerful car to begin with. This unit awoke the car to a new level. In fact, I need to play around with the setting because the car is "too responsive". I installed thisand really didn't have a chance to test-drive the car until. Right now I have it set for race#9. I think I need to back this off a little bit because the tires break loose very quickly in initial motion. I'm sure once I get used to the new responsiveness of the car, I will learn what is the best setting for this unit. I just want to let you know that this unit was worth every penny you charge for it. It is difficult to get such a performance boost from such a small upgrade/addition. It delivers the power of the engine much quicker than before.
